Public Input

Public participation is an essential part of planning process. In addition to oversight by an advisory committee from each county, the planning team is soliciting public input through three different platforms.

  • Online survey: A short SurveyMonkey poll was created to gage public support for bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure and participants’ walking and bicycling habits. You can take the survey here.
  • Wikimapping:  This activity allows you to share your thoughts and ideas for routes and destinations on an interactive map. You can even add photos of favorite destinations, unique challenge areas, or anything else. You can find the map here.
  • Public Open Houses: An interactive public open house will be held in December 2017 in each of three counties. At the open houses you will be given the chance to characterize your walking and bicycling habits, identify problem areas, and describe your walking and bicycling vision for the counties and surrounding areas.
